From Baltimore to Richmond, we're expanding our presence and working with local leaders and organizations to uplift communities in the Greater Washington, D.C. area. We鈥檙e strengthening the local economy and encouraging workforce development through investments in local career and entrepreneurship non-profits. We continue to expand access to financial health education, by hosting more than 645 free events at our community branches including the innovative Skyland Town Center. Additionally, we have directed over $77 million in philanthropic capital to support organizations located in Wards 7 & 8 in Washington D.C., as well as in Baltimore, Maryland and Greater Richmond, Virginia. Through these efforts, we are dedicated to boosting this community, creating more opportunities and an economy that works for everyone.
